4 ways high school journalism students are smart

  1. Journalism students get better grades, higher ACT scores and then as college freshman get better grades.
  2. Journalism students get higher grades in math, social science, science and English courses.
  3. Journalism is an excellent outlet for talented, creative and involved students.
  4. Journalism gives students a chance to hone leadership skills while exercising critical thinking, designing and writing skills.
