On May 12, 19 were injured at a Mother’s Day Parade in New Orleans. No one was killed. Currently police are trying to identify the suspects. They believe they saw 3 suspects running from the scene immediately following the shooting. There is a $10,000 reward.

However, the shooting is not believed to be an act of terrorism. According to New Orleans FBI spokeswoman Mary Beth Romig, quoted on CNN, "It's strictly an act of street violence in New Orleans."

Two children were injured in the shooting and are currently in good condition. Two adults who were injured were in surgery Sunday evening. There were at least two guns used in this shooting.

The investigation is still under way as investigators try to identify the suspects with help of witnesses. New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu also commented about this shooting on CNN. "We're going to be very, very aggressive. There were hundreds of people out there...so somebody knows who did this."
